Sean Poure

Sean Poure is a distinguished engineer at Verizon since January 2020, specializing in the design and development of Software Defined Networking for orchestrating and managing core MPLS network devices. Prior to Verizon, Sean served as the Solution Architects Manager for Public Sector accounts at NTT Ltd., overseeing pre-sales activities and architectural work. At NWN Corporation, Sean held the position of Director of Enterprise Networking for the Public Sector, managing a technical team and validating pre-sales efforts in the western region. Sean's earlier roles include Senior Solutions Architect at ePlus, where expertise in unified communication design was promoted, and Senior Application/Network Engineer at NEC, providing crucial support for technical designs. Sean began professional development as a Senior System Engineer at Micro Visions, focusing on multi-domain NT4 setups. Sean holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from York University, earned between 1990 and 1994, and possesses relevant industry certificates.
