Philip Wong

Philip Wong is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in vehicle communication technology and system integration. Currently serving as a Planungsingenieur at Hamburger Hochbahn AG since July 2024, Philip previously worked as a Projektingenieur KFZ-Systemelektrik at Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein GmbH, where responsibilities included the development and reengineering of vehicle communication systems and project management for vehicle retrofitting systems. Prior to that, Philip held the position of Referent für automatische Fahrgastzählsysteme at Hamburger Hochbahn AG, overseeing the technical management and development of automatic passenger counting systems. Philip began a career in vehicle mechanics at FFG Fahrzeugwerkstätten Falkenried GmbH, starting with an apprenticeship and progressing to a mechanic position, which laid the foundation for a career in mechatronics, culminating in a degree as a Staatlich geprüfter Techniker in Mechatronik, Robotik und Automatisierungstechnik.
