Joshua Stacy

Joshua Stacy has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Joshua started their career as a Web Application Developer Intern at Stacy Private Consulting in 2010. Joshua converted Classic ASP pages into ASP.NET and redesigned various aspects of the pages for optimal performance.

In 2011, they became a Web Developer at Bridgetree, where they were responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise-level software. Joshua converted Classic ASP applications to ASP.NET WebForms and collaborated closely with a fortune 50 client to develop web applications with ASP.NET.

Joshua then advanced to the role of Lead Applications Developer at Bridgetree in 2014. Joshua managed over 100 TFS projects and ensured secure operations, proper permissions, and regular software updates. Joshua also led a team of 15 developers across multiple overseas offices and improved system-wide performance by 30%.

In 2016, Joshua transitioned to the role of Senior Application Architect at Bridgetree. Joshua received Bridgetree's 2017 Passion Award and designed and developed multiple web applications following best practices. Joshua managed a team of junior to senior level developers and was responsible for migrating TFS to VSTS (now Azure DevOps). Joshua also administered over 100 Azure DevOps projects company-wide and integrated CI/CD on many applications. Additionally, they designed an automated fulfillment system for insurance compliance using .NET Core 3.

Joshua joined TempWorks Software, Inc in 2021 as a Senior Software Developer. Joshua maintained, developed, and delivered product enhancements to their software product suite. Joshua proactively undertook difficult tasks, participated in code reviews, and provided robust documentation on product enhancements. Joshua built a showcase environment with K8s for spinning up ephemeral environments during code reviews and developed an Azure DevOps build/release pipeline for publishing PSModule repos.

Currently, Joshua works at Vermeer Corporation as a Software Engineering Team Lead starting in 2023.

Joshua Stacy received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Tarleton State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
