Hans de Koningh is an experienced petrophysicist with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently a Senior Petrophysicist at Vermilion Energy since January 2018, Hans provides support to various European assets. Previously, Hans held the position of Principal Petrophysicist at Xodus Group from September 2011 to December 2017, where responsibilities included managing the petrophysical discipline and conducting integrated exploration and production studies. Prior to that, Hans worked at SGS as a Principal Petrophysicist, focusing on petrophysical studies, asset reviews, and field development from September 2008 to August 2011. Hans also served as Oil Maturation Team Leader and Lead Petrophysicist at Petroleum Development Oman from June 2005 to August 2008 and began a career at Shell, delivering expertise in reservoir management and exploration across North Sea, New Zealand, and Oman from 1997 to 2008. An alumnus of Delft University of Technology, Hans earned a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from 1988 to 1995.
