Mark Seltzer

Mark Seltzer is an experienced legal and environmental professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Vermont since September 2022. With a diverse background in environmental law, Mark has held roles such as Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where work involved case development and environmental litigation, and Regional Compliance Manager supporting ski areas in compliance matters. Mark has extensive experience in the skiing industry, working as a Ski Patroller and Mountain Ambassador at various resorts, while also contributing legal expertise through positions as a Legal Clerk and Intern in environmental law settings. Mark holds a JD and a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Information Management Technology from Syracuse University.
