Patrick Scheld

Patrick Scheld is an experienced professional in community development and grant management, currently serving as the Administrative Services Manager for the State of Vermont since January 2017. Patrick oversees a small team of Grant Administrators to ensure eligibility and compliance for State-CDBG funds at the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development and the Vermont Community Development Program. Previous roles include positions as a Community Development Specialist and Grants Management Specialist focused on disaster recovery. Additionally, Patrick holds a membership on the Health Equity Advisory Commission to advocate for marginalized communities and serves on the City Planning Commission in Essex Junction. Patrick's earlier experiences include international volunteer coordination and participation in AmeriCorps programs. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Saint Michael's College and a Master of Science in Community Development & Applied Economics from the University of Vermont.
