Doug Eisinger

Doug Eisinger is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of environmental policy and transportation planning. Currently serving as an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington Civil and Environmental Engineering, Doug teaches "Health & Sustainable Transportation" within the Master of Sustainable Transportation Program. In addition, Doug is an Adjunct Faculty member at Vermont Law and Graduate School and holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist at Sonoma Technology, Inc., where expertise is applied to air quality research and strategic planning for clients in both government and private sectors. Doug's background includes roles as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Program Manager for the U.C. Davis-Caltrans Air Quality Project, and Mobile Sources Section Chief at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Doug's academic credentials include a PhD in Environmental Policy Analysis from Aberystwyth University, a Masters in Public Policy focused on Energy and Environmental Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Government with a minor in biology/chemistry from Cornell University.
