Jon Winer

Jon Winer has extensive experience in software engineering and management roles. Jon is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Vermont Systems since 2023. Before that, they were a Product Manager at Codingscape from 2022 to 2023. In 2021, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Data Innovations LLC, where they also held roles as a Technical Writing team Community of Practice leader and Product Owner. In 2020, Jon worked at C2 - Competitive Computing as a Software Delivery Manager and also as a Technical Advisor, providing oversight and direction across various departments. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Vermont Systems, Inc, leading multiple departments and implementing Agile methodologies. Prior to that, Jon held several leadership positions at MyWebGrocer, including Acting Director of Retail DevOps, VP of R&D, Digital Marketing Services, and VP of Engineering Services. Jon also worked as a Director and Sr Software Developer at Competitive Computing and Channel Intelligence, respectively. Early in their career, Jon worked as an Applications Developer at Aurum Technology and NASA.

Jon Winer obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science from Florida State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Jon later pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Science from Florida Metropolitan University, attending from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jon has also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) from LinkedIn, Inbound Certification from HubSpot Academy, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., Fundamentals of DoubleClick Rich Media from DoubleClick, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft.
