Jonathan Swain

Jonathan Swain is a Senior Scientist at Vernalis, where they are responsible for training, deploying, and maintaining models for chemical property prediction. Prior to this role, they served as an Admissions Advisor at The University of Auckland and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher on antimicrobial peptide natural products. Jonathan has also completed placements at University College London and Selcia, focusing on synthesizing biologically active compounds and aromatic heterocycles. They hold a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, an MSci in Natural Sciences from UCL, and completed an Undergraduate Exchange in Organic Chemistry and Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Toronto.
