Amy Dixon, PharmD

Amy Dixon, PharmD has a comprehensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Amy is currently working at Verona Pharma as a Senior Director of Medical Affairs. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Medical Affairs at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 2020 to December 2022.

Amy also worked at Dova Pharmaceuticals, where they held two roles - Director of Medical Affairs from August 2019 to April 2020, and Associate Director of Medical Affairs from April 2018 to July 2019.

Before joining Dova Pharmaceuticals, Amy worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Consultant in US Medical, e-Channel from May 2017 to April 2018, and as an Associate Consultant in Medical Information - Oncology from October 2015 to May 2017.

Amy also gained experience as a Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer at PPD from October 2012 to October 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in the MTM Pilot Program at CCNC from April 2012 to September 2012.

Amy started their career as a Pharmacy Manager at Holly Park Pharmacy in June 2011, and later worked as a Pharmacist and Pharmacy Intern at Kerr Drug from December 2007 to June 2011.

Amy also had an internship at GlaxoSmithKline in the Medical Information department in 2009. Amy Dixon's extensive background in the pharmaceutical industry makes their a valuable asset to any organization.

Amy Dixon, PharmD completed their high school education at Green Hope High School from 2001 to 2005, earning a High School Diploma. Following this, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2005 to 2009, obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Amy then continued their education at the same university, completing a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from 2007 to 2011, specializing in Pharmacy.
