David Brown

David Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David began their career as a Scientific Officer at Hoechst Marion Roussel in 1998 and then moved on to work as a Research Scientist at DERA in 2000. After that, they joined Patheon where they held various roles including Scientific Officer, Production Team Leader, and QA Validations Section Head. In 2006, they joined BioVex as a Senior QA Scientist and later became the Head of QA. In 2011, they joined Amgen as a Senior Manager QA and stayed with the company until 2015. David then worked at Takeda as an Associate Director GMP QA and later as the Director of IMP Quality Operations (US). Currently, they are serving as the Senior Director QA at Verona Pharma since 2019.

David Brown received their BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Bath, completing their studies from 1991 to 1995. David then pursued further education at the same university, earning a PhD in Polymer Chemistry between 1995 and 1998.
