Matt Rysavy

Matt Rysavy has over 18 years of experience in market access and trade roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Matt is currently serving as the Vice President of Market Access and Trade at Verona Pharma, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Director of Market Access and Trade at BioDelivery Sciences International from December 2018 to June 2022.

Before joining BioDelivery Sciences International, Matt held the position of Corporate Account Director at US WorldMeds/HEMA Biologics from May 2017 to December 2018. Matt also worked as a National Accounts Specialist at BioDelivery Sciences from September 2015 to May 2017 and as a National Account Executive at Orexo from May 2015 to September 2015.

Matt's extensive experience in market access and trade also includes a long tenure at Salix, where they served as a Senior National Account Manager from April 2010 to May 2015. During their time at Salix, they gained expertise in various payer environments, including MCOs, PBMs, Medicaid, ADAPs, Medicare Part B, Exchanges, CO-OPs, GPOs, and hospital systems. Their therapeutic background includes oral specialty areas such as gastroenterology, hepatology, oncology, and anti-infective, as well as buy and bill experience in colorectal surgery, oncology, and rheumatology.

In addition to their roles at Salix, Matt also served as a Regional Sales Manager from February 2005 to April 2010 and as a Training Manager from January 2004 to February 2005.

Matt Rysavy obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Iowa State University, where they attended from 1993 to 1998.
