Michael Walters

Michael Walters is an advisor at Verrency and a former non-executive director at Fusion Payments. Michael has also founded and served as the CEO and executive director of littlepay.

Walters has over 25 years of experience in the payments industry. Michael started their career in retail response before moving to Fusion Payments in December 2015. Michael served as a non-executive director at Fusion Payments for two years before moving to littlepay in November 2017.

At littlepay, Walters was responsible for establishing, developing, and leading the transport payments processor. Michael successfully launched the company in mid-2017 and oversaw its rollout across the UK by late 2017.

In recognition of their achievements, Walters was awarded the 2018 Emerging Payments Awards Founder/CEO of the Year.

Michael Walters attended the Australian National University, where they studied Information Technology, Accounting, and Economics. Michael then went on to study at Port Macquarie High School.
