Matt Davidson

Matt Davidson is the current advisor at Verrica Pharma and the founder and CEO of Verrica Pharmaceuticals. Matt has also worked as a scientist at Applied Immunology. Matt has a background in biological therapeutics, vaccines, and diagnostics. Matt has raised over $100M from seed, angel, series A, series B, crossover and public market financings. Matt has invented core technologies leading to 6 patents. Matt has also authored regulatory submissions and oversaw successful FDA meetings (pIND, IND, EofP2, SPA).

Matt Davidson attended Windward High School and then went on to study Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating with High Honors, Davidson enrolled in the Ignite Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business to study entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies. Davidson is currently enrolled in a PhD program in immunology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
