Vengal Darapaneni

Vengal Darapaneni has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Vengal currently holds the position of Head of Program Management, Customer Success at Versa Networks, a role they have held since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Cisco Systems from August 2015 to September 2019 as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at Zokets, Inc. Before that, from 2012 to 2015, they served as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Coraid, where they led a platform team and was responsible for developing storage appliances, REST API products, and a monitoring solution. From 2003 to 2012, they worked at Juniper Networks as the Director of SW Engineering, where they managed a large multi-site team and was responsible for defining objectives and priorities, managing VoIP-SBC and L4-7 services, and designing software for routers. From 2000 to 2002, they worked at Nexsi Systems as a Member of Technical Staff, where they led the development of modules for content services switches and high-performance stateful inspection firewall/NAT software. Vengal also has experience working as a Senior Software Engineer at KLA Tencor and Databeam Corporation, where they worked on protocol stack software and developed HTTP tunneling for applets.

Vengal Darapaneni earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. Vengal later obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from the University of New Haven.
