Ruth Leah Jenkins

Ruth Leah Jenkins has extensive work experience in quality assurance and compliance. Ruth Leah is currently the Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance at VersaCold Logistics Services, where they began in February 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Regional Manager of Cold Chain Assurance at the same company since December 2020.

Before joining VersaCold, Ruth worked at Chewters Chocolates DBA Dynamic Chocolates from January 2015 to September 2021 as a Production/QA Manager. In this role, they provided leadership and supervision to production, sanitation, and QA teams. Ruth Leah also focused on improving manufacturing operating results and downtime efficiencies while maintaining customer expectations and minimizing waste.

From August 2014 to September 2021, Ruth held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Dynamic Chocolates. Ruth Leah was responsible for implementing food safety and quality standards, ensuring product compliance with various regulations and certification bodies, and addressing customer and consumer complaints.

Prior to Dynamic Chocolates, Ruth worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at J&L Beef Ltd from October 2011 to August 2014. Ruth Leah also served as a Senior Microbiologist and Head of Microbiology Laboratory at GMP Services-Conformity Assessment Body from April 2009 to April 2011.

Ruth started their career as a Trainer at the International Centre of Quality Systems & Calibration from January 2008 to April 2011. Ruth Leah also worked as a Quality Control Technologist at the Coca Cola Bottling Plant (coastal bottlers) from August 2000 to March 2009.

Ruth Leah Jenkins completed their education in various institutions. Ruth Leah attended Kenya Polytechnic University College from 1993 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Applied Science with a specialization in Food Science and Technology. In 2008 to 2009, they enrolled at Kenya Institute of Management and obtained a Diploma in Business Management. Finally, from 2012 to 2019, they attended Kwantlen University College, where they earned a BBA degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership.
