Carmen Freeman

Carmen Freeman has extensive experience in the health insurance industry. Carmen currently holds the position of Regional Vice President of Sales at Versant Health since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Awards Chair at the Dallas Association of Health Underwriters starting in July 2022. From July 2020 to January 2023, Carmen worked as the Director of Business Development at BCS Financial Corporation. Before that, they were a Senior Account Director at Lincoln Financial Group from June 2017 to July 2020. Carmen also held the role of Strategic National Account Executive at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from February 2012 to June 2017. Carmen has additional experience as a Senior Account Manager at Fort Dearborn Life Insurance Company of New York from 2010 to 2012, and as a Senior National Claims Manager at Cigna from 2005 to 2009.

Carmen Freeman holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification as an Insurance Agent, specializing in Accident, Health, Life, Variable Life & Variable Annuities, from Kaplan Higher Education in January 2012.
