Cheryl Thomas

Cheryl Thomas has worked at Versant Health since 2021, holding the position of Director of Operations. Previously, they were employed by Absolute Total Care - Centene Corporation, where they held various roles. From 2018 to 2021, Cheryl was the Senior Manager of Medical Management Operations, overseeing appeals, grievances, readmissions, and member connections. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Medical Management Outcome from 2013 to 2018, focusing on clinical data analysis and monitoring utilization trends. From 2009 to 2013, Cheryl worked as a Financial Analyst II, responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information.

Cheryl Thomas earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of South Carolina from 1989-1994. Cheryl then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in Financial Management, from Webster University between 2005 and 2008. Later, in 2015-2016, Cheryl completed their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from New England College.
