Martha Grubaugh

Martha Grubaugh has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Martha is currently serving as the Executive Director at Versant Healthcare Competency Solutions since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Colorado College of Nursing starting from December 2020.

Martha held various roles at Children's Hospital Colorado, including VP/ACNO from July 2019 to May 2021 and Interim Nursing Director from October 2018 to May 2021. Before that, they worked as the VP of Nursing Services at Centura Health's Penrose St Francis from August 2013 to June 2018.

Martha also served as the Service Line Director at Bon Secours from October 2011 to August 2013, Nursing Director at CHRISTUS Health from March 2009 to July 2011, and NICU Supervisor at the University of Michigan Health System from September 2007 to March 2009.

Martha began their career at the University of Michigan as an Accreditation and Regulatory Coordinator from June 2006 to September 2007.

Martha Grubaugh has a strong educational background in the field of nursing. Martha earned their Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Pennsylvania, which they completed between 1995 and 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Michigan, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. Martha Grubaugh further expanded their knowledge and expertise in nursing by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Science from The University of Colorado College of Nursing, completing their studies from 2014 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Martha Grubaugh has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Martha became a Nurse Executive (NE-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in August 2014. Furthermore, they achieved the status of Congress 2022 Oral Presenter from the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in June 2022.
