Nilanjan De has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nilanjan is currently serving as the SVP of Software Engineering and Operations at Trilogy, where they manage a portfolio of 20+ enterprise products and has successfully implemented strategies to improve engineering velocity, reduce downtime, and optimize costs.

Prior to joining Trilogy, Nilanjan was the Managing Director at Versata, where they contributed to delivering enterprise software solutions and reducing IT expenditures.

Nilanjan is also the Co-founder and CTO of FireCompass, a SaaS product for IT Attack Surface Enumeration and Management. In this role, they played a key role in building the product, hiring teams, raising funding, and scaling the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to $500k+.

Nilanjan has also worked as an Advisor at CISOPlatform, delivering talks and workshops and participating in community-led initiatives. Additionally, they have experience as a Principal Architect at Cigital, Inc. (a part of Synopsys), where they led the integration of iViZ Security with Cigital and oversaw the scaling of the engineering, delivery, and finance teams.

Before Cigital, Nilanjan co-founded iViZ Techno Solutions Private Limited and served as the CTO. Nilanjan raised VC funding, built engineering and delivery teams, and led the development of On-Demand Cloud-based Penetration Testing product.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Research Consultant at the Advanced VLSI Design Laboratory, IIT Kharagpur and as a Student Intern at Texas Instruments, Bangalore, India.

Nilanjan De attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 1998 to 2002. Nilanjan obtained a B.Tech (Hons) degree in E & ECE during this time. In November 2022, they also obtained a certification in Problem Solving from HackerRank.
