Danette S. Smith

Danette S. Smith is the current Chief Operating Officer at Versatile. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President of Blue Engines at BLUE ORIGIN from July 2018 to August 2019. Smith has also been with Aerojet Rocketdyne and Lockheed Martin, where they held the positions of Senior Executive Director of Program Excellence and Director of Program Management, respectively. From January 1988 to December 1995, they were the General Manager at HKMIV. Smith is also the President and Owner of Smith Investments.

Danette S. Smith has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, a Physics and Mathematics degree from Allan Hancock College, and a High School Diploma from Evanston High School. Danette also has certifications in Blackbelt and Program Management from Lockheed Martin.

Danette S. Smith reports to Meirav Oren, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Jared R. Rastegar - VP, Growth, Tamar Elan - EVP, People, and Danny Hermann - Co-Founder.
