Jacob Lindberg

Jacob Lindberg has been in the engineering industry since 2017. Jacob began their career at Scientific Cal Ag as a Product Design Engineer, where they led hardware development for a multi-terrain land and aerial based precision agriculture drone used for full-circle crop ailment detection. Jacob used Solidworks to design multiple iterations of the quadcopter drone, performed FEA and DFMEA principles, and conducted various flight simulations to optimize design parameters. Jacob also coordinated with materials suppliers and contractors to meet strength-weight ratio requirements. In 2021, they joined VersaWare Technologies as Co-Founder/Product Design, where they lead a team of six individuals building smart IoT kitchen appliances for automated nutrition building and full-circle recipe creation. Jacob designs, fabricates, tests, and assembles numerous prototypes by use of Solidworks, and spearheads the electrical design by use of Variscite SOMs and custom PCBs using KiCAD.

Jacob Lindberg attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2016 to 2021 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
