David Quinlan

David Quinlan has a diverse work experience in various roles, including Machine Learning Engineer at Versed AI since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at PlayStation in 2021 and at Decibel from 2019 to 2020, where they applied CNN and semantic segmentation models for web browsing behavior analysis. David also worked as a Data Scientist at iOpt Limited in 2018, developing an R shiny application for humidity and temperature trend analysis. Additionally, David worked as a Mathematics and Statistics Tutor at UCD Maths Support Centre from 2016 to 2017, providing support to students in programming and reinforcing their knowledge. David also worked as a Data Analyst at Deutsche Bank in 2016, specializing in fraud detection using R and Python. Lastly, David served as a Laboratory Demonstrator at UCD School of Computer Science in 2016, providing support and facilitating communication between students and lecturers.

David Quinlan completed their secondary education at Rockwell College from 2007 to 2013. David then attended University College Dublin from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) in Statistics with a field of study in Mathematics and Statistics. Finally, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued further education at the University of Glasgow, earning an M.Res in Advanced Statistics with a field of study in Statistics.
