Bart Reuter

Bart recently joined Versiti after a twenty year career as an associate, senior counsel, and equity partner at Foley & Lardner, LLP. At Foley, Bart served in several leadership roles, most recently as the Vice-Chair of one of its practice groups. In those leadership roles, Bart supervised the work and performance of dozens of lawyers and other professionals through his career. Bart developed a strong skill set in negotiation. He has been repeatedly selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and Wisconsin Super Lawyers - Rising Stars.

Bart has deep experience in regulated industries including health care and insurance. Bart also sits on the boards of both for profit and not for profit entities, including ELCO Life of Annity Insurance Company, the Palmer Foundation, and the Phi Delta Theta Housing Corporation.

Born and raised in Wauwatosa, Bart is a lifelong Wisconsinite. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (in only three years) and then graduated magna cum laude (in the top four) of his class at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Bart lives in Brookfield with his wife, Carrie, and their three sons, Baron (11), Slade (6), and Hans (2). Bart enjoys spending time with his family at their cottage in Green Lake; he is an avid skier (snow and water) and a rabid Badger football fan.
