Ke gained significant experience at General Motors, where they held various roles. As a Global Technology Planning Executive, they managed the in-vehicle technology strategy for the Buick/GMC brand and GM China market. Ke led cross-functional team collaboration and achieved successful vehicle program launches. Ke also led key initiatives as an Engineering Business Manager for GM Global Infotainment & OnStar Engineering and managed program launches for Global Hybrid Battery System Engineering.

Earlier in their career, Ke worked as a Design Consultant at Beijing Big House Advertising Group and as a Classical Chinese Dancer with the China Operatic Dance Troupe.

Later, from 2004 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with Honors from Michigan State University. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Ke Zhang-Miske also completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Michigan State University during the same timeframe.
