Nick Woods

Nick Woods is a Senior Data Engineer at Vertava Health since April 2021, with a strong background in data science and business intelligence. Previously, as a Data Scientist at HireRight from January 2019 to April 2021, Nick designed and developed four innovative natural language processing models, marking the organization's first use of neural networks and Docker container-based solutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Business Intelligence Analyst at GIS from November 2008 to January 2019, where Nick created an automated self-service data warehouse on Tableau Server and developed numerous data sources for extensive ad-hoc analysis. Earlier roles at GIS included Report Developer and Production Support Analyst, focusing on report development and SQL-based automation. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina, earned in 2007, and a high school diploma from Barnwell High School obtained in 2003.
