John Zhu

John Zhu currently serves as the General Manager of DDIT and IFMT at Vertechs Group, where responsibilities include overseeing business development and project management for drilling solutions, particularly in the China market, with a focus on managed pressure drilling and cementing. Previous roles at Vertechs include project lead positions for various drilling and cementing product lines, emphasizing business expansion and operational support, along with experience as an application engineer. Before joining Vertechs, John Zhu worked as a field engineer at Schlumberger, providing daily support and troubleshooting for drilling measurements. John Zhu holds an MBA from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and a degree from Southwest Petroleum University.
