Aric Parnes

Aric Parnes is a seasoned medical professional with significant experience in hematology and oncology. Currently serving as Medical Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since April 2022, Aric also holds the position of Associate Medical Director for U.S. Hematology within Medical Affairs. Since July 2013, Aric has been an attending physician in Hematology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where additional roles include Associate Program Director of the Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program and Associate Director of the Boston Hemophilia Center. Previous positions include Oncology Hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Hematology Oncology Attending at Milford Oncology Hematology. Aric completed a Hematology Fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a Hematology Oncology Fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital, following an Internal Medicine Residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Educationally, Aric earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Trinity College Dublin and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
