Carl Vogel

Carl Vogel is a Research Scientist II at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, a position held since January 2016. Prior to this role, Carl served as an NIH-NRSA Predoctoral Fellow and Graduate Student at UC Irvine from July 2010 to December 2015. Carl began a career in synthetic chemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago, working as a Synthetic Chemist from May 2008 to June 2010. Carl holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago.
