Ciaran Brady

Ciaran Brady is an experienced leader in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and technology, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ciaran held significant positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Head/Executive Director of Biologics Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, and at Eli Lilly and Company as Senior Director for Technical Services in various manufacturing disciplines. Earlier career experiences include roles at Human Genome Sciences and a postdoctoral fellowship at The National Institutes of Health, focusing on malaria vaccine development. Ciaran holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Dublin City University, with additional educational experience from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Dublin City University.
