Himanshu Nimbalkar

Himanshu Nimbalkar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance systems and transformation leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Architecture and Strategy in G&A Technology at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2025, Nimbalkar previously held the role of Head of Data and Business Enablement in Corporate Finance at MassMutual from January 2023 to October 2025, where responsibilities included leading a team of 69 members to support Corporate Finance initiatives. Prior roles include Head of Finance Transformation at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Head of Finance Systems at Takeda, and Director of Global Planning and Consolidation Systems at Shire, among others. Nimbalkar's background encompasses managing complex finance systems, strategic roadmaps, and personnel management, with a strong foundation in financial reporting and systems integration. Nimbalkar holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
