James Kreindler

James Kreindler serves as the Executive Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2022. Prior to this role, James held various leadership positions at AstraZeneca, including Global Medical Head of Breztri and Senior Global Medical Affairs Lead, from January 2018 to September 2022. James also worked at GSK as Director of Clinical Development from June 2014 to January 2018. James's academic experience includes serving as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and attending physician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from August 2007 to June 2017, as well as prior positions at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Columbia University. James earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University.
