Lorraine Mathis

Lorraine Mathis is the Associate Director of Global Facilities Operations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2021, where responsibilities include global management of the ServiceNow-based CMMS system Nuvolo and support of lab space and master planning for Boston-area facilities. Prior to this position, Lorraine held various engineering roles at AbbVie from December 2010 to September 2021, including Engineering Strategy & Services Manager, where strategic planning and production support suite coordination were key functions. Lorraine also contributed to project engineering, controls engineering, and engineering strategic roadmaps, demonstrating a comprehensive background in capital projects and process improvements. Lorraine's early career includes management positions at Cinemark and Regal Entertainment Group. Education includes participation in the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard Business School and advanced degrees in Engineering Management and Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, respectively.
