Mahesh Vijay

Mahesh Vijay has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Type 1 Diabetes New Products Planning Lead for Cell and Gene Therapies at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since April 2021. In addition to this role, Mahesh is also a mentor and volunteer at SCORE Mentors since December 2020. Previously, Mahesh worked as a Strategy Consultant at SAABOA and as the Head of Diabetes Marketing at Sanofi. Notable prior positions include roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, and Novartis, where Mahesh held various senior marketing and management positions. Educational credentials include dual Global MBA degrees in International Business and International/Global Studies from Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as studies at Trivandrum Medical College.
