Michael Daly

Michael Daly is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since March 2021, Michael is also involved with the Cybersecurity Strategy Council for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and chairs the Cybersecurity Governance Center Advisory Committee at American University’s Kogod School of Business. Michael has contributed to the Homeland Security Advisory Board for the State of Rhode Island since March 2017, and previously held significant positions at Raytheon Technologies and Raytheon Company, culminating in the role of Chief Technology Officer for Cybersecurity. Michael's career began in the early 1990s at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and has included roles focused on electronic communications and security systems design. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
