Tanya Bos

Tanya Bos is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President and Head of New Products International at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since January 2021. In this role, Tanya leads the development of commercialization strategies for pipeline assets across diverse therapeutic areas, including Cell & Gene therapies and small molecules. As a Founding Member of Chief in the UK, Tanya is dedicated to empowering women in leadership positions. Prior to Vertex, Tanya held high-level positions at Takeda and Shire, focusing on strategic leadership in rare immunology. Tanya's career also includes significant roles at AstraZeneca, Sandoz, Novartis, Sabex, and Schein Pharmaceuticals, showcasing a strong background in product strategy, market access, and commercial excellence. Tanya holds a BA from McGill University, an MBA from Queen's University, and has completed executive education at MIT and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
