Tracy Bunting-Early

Tracy Bunting-Early, PhD, serves as the Director of Global Medical Affairs-Communications at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since May 2020. As the Founder and CEO of Outcomes Positive, a nonprofit focused on enhancing the diagnosis of urinary tract and kidney infections in young children, Tracy addresses a critical gap in healthcare. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Global Medical Affairs for Pfizer Oncology Publications, leading strategic initiatives with substantial budget management, and as Global Medical Affairs Oncology Publications Lead at AstraZeneca. With a background in medical communications, Tracy founded Bunting Medical Communications, managing diverse projects and teams. Educational qualifications include a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a PhD in Molecular Biology from Rutgers University.
