Wilfred Myers, JD/MBA, currently serves as Senior Counsel at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, having previously held the position of Corporate Counsel for the Diabetes Care Division at Abbott. With extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, Wilfred has provided legal counsel on various complex regulatory matters, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Sunshine Act, and has managed commercial agreements and compliance issues. Prior roles include Corporate Counsel at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., where Wilfred advised on pricing and reimbursement strategies, and Associate Director of Contract Development & Strategy at Gilead Sciences, focusing on contract negotiations and compliance with federal regulations. Wilfred's legal expertise is backed by a Juris Doctor and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University, in addition to a BA in English Literature from DePauw University.
