Christopher Scalia

Christopher Scalia comes to Vertex Solutions with over 41 years of experience (25 years in the military and 16 years commercial) in Organizational Management, Program Management and Business Development. He’s managed diverse portfolios in both the military and commercial environments directing up to several thousand employees and managing assets in the billions of dollars. Chris served twenty-five years in the U.S. Army advancing from the enlisted ranks to Lieutenant Colonel occupying various leadership and staff positions in both tactical and support organizations at the company, battalion, brigade, division, theater and depot level. As a defense contractor he has served as a Programs Director for an office of over 200 personnel with task orders valued at over $50M at the Special Operations Forces Support Activity in Lexington, KY for both L3 and later Lockheed Martin Corporation. For the past ten years he has served in a Business Development role for L3, Vertex Aerospace and now Vertex Solutions leading pursuit activities that resulted in new bookings in excess of $1.5B for the various Corporations.
