Genping Liu

Genping Liu is a Partner at Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India since October 2010, focusing on sectors such as consuming internet, enterprise/SME tech, fintech, deep tech, and blockchain, primarily on A/B stages but open to pre-A and post-B opportunities across Southeast Asia. In addition to current roles as Board Observer at Pace Enterprise and Nium, and Board Member at Validus Capital and Hertzwell, Genping Liu has invested in various ventures including Coinomo and previously at Binance Singapore. With a background in technology and finance, Genping Liu's past experience encompasses wearable/mobile components, MEMS, robotics, and battery solutions. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy & Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and dual degrees in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and Xi'an Jiaotong University.
