Salman Bhatti

Salman Bhatti is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in cloud engineering and technology management. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Vertex Inc. since March 2023, Salman leads the Cloud Architecture, Platform, and Edge Computing organizations within a rapidly growing cloud-first company. Previously, Salman held the position of VP of Engineering at UKG and contributed significant academic insights as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Florida International University. Notable past roles include VP of Cloud Engineering at Citrix, where Salman achieved substantial improvements in gross margin and operational efficiency, and technical leadership positions at Motorola Solutions and Research In Motion. The educational background includes an M.Sc. in Management of Technology from the University of Miami and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Florida International University.
