Laurence Lipworth

EVP Client Engagement at Vertic

Laurence Lipworth has a diverse work experience in various industries. Laurence began their career as a Business Development & Customer Insights Intern at AT&T in 1998. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Sales Manager at Marcus Evans, where they successfully expanded the sales organization and developed a new event vertical in advertising and marketing.

In 2007, Lipworth joined Vertic as an International Business Development Manager, responsible for acquiring new Fortune 500 clients outside of Denmark. During this time, they secured nine new clients, including Medtronic, Sun Microsystems, and Microsoft US. Lipworth then moved to New York City in June 2009 as Vice President of Client Development, leading business development efforts for Vertic's US operations. Laurence worked with notable clients such as Microsoft, SAP, and GE.

In September 2013, Lipworth became the General Manager in Seattle for Vertic, where they played a key role in driving the company's growth and managing operations in the region. In April 2018, they relocated back to the NYC headquarters as EVP Client Engagement, overseeing the company's new client engagement for the region. Lipworth also contributed to the successful acquisition of Vertic by Globant in December 2022.

Laurence Lipworth completed their education in a chronological order. Laurence attended The Manchester Grammar School from 1992 to 1999, where they obtained A-levels in Spanish, French, and Politics. From 1999 to 2003, they attended the University of Birmingham and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish, French, and Catalan. In August 2019, Laurence obtained a certification in Strategic Agility from LinkedIn.
