Hanna Hiidenmaa

Hanna Hiidenmaa currently serves as the Head of Healthcare at Vertical, a company focused on customer- and user-centric development in disruptive markets, since December 2022. Prior to this role, Hanna held the position of Medical Lead / Medical Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim from October 2017 to December 2022. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of Helsinki (April 2015 - October 2017), and a PhD student position at BioMediTech (2009 - January 2015). Additional research work was conducted at REGEA, University of Tampere (October 2008 - May 2009), and trainee experience at the University of Tampere (June 2007 - August 2007). Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Tissue Engineering from the University of Tampere and executive education from Harvard Medical School Corporate Learning.
