Chris J Drye

Chris J Drye is an accomplished aerospace and engineering professional with extensive experience in programme management within high-growth environments. Currently serving as Head of Programme at Vertical Aerospace, Chris drives the delivery of the VX4 eVTOL Aircraft, focusing on strategic planning, execution excellence, and cross-functional alignment. Prior experience includes roles at Dyson, where Chris managed new product innovation and technical research programmes, leading teams to develop market-disrupting technologies. Previously, Chris worked at Ricardo, overseeing complex automotive programmes and playing a key role in the development of McLaren supercar engines. Chris holds a Master of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath.
