Jake Anderson, EIT has extensive work experience in the mechanical construction industry. Jake is currently serving as the Vice President of Mechanical Construction at Vertical Mechanical Group since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Anderson Mechanical Services, Inc. where they held various roles, including Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager from 2018 to 2021.

Before joining Anderson Mechanical Services, Inc., Jake worked as a Mechanical Product Engineer at Universal Dynamics, Inc. for a brief period in 2018. Jake gained valuable experience as a Project Engineer at both Steam and Control Systems Inc. and Chattanooga Ornamental Iron from 2016 to 2018.

Jake's earlier work experience includes an internship as a Project Engineer at Fontaine Floor Technologies - A Berkshire Hathaway Company in 2015, where they worked on designing friction stir welded flooring systems. Jake also worked as a Project Engineer at TSE Brakes - A Berkshire Hathaway Company in the same year.

Throughout their career, Jake has contributed to notable projects for clients such as Georgia Pacific, Interfor, Baxter Healthcare, Hood Industries, Mckee Foods Corporate Headquarters, Hackney, and Aluma. Their expertise lies in designing and managing projects in the mechanical construction field, specializing in control systems, structural steel, heat exchangers, machinery, and auxiliary boiler equipment.

Jake Anderson, EIT, has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Construction Management from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which they completed from 2017 to 2018. Jake also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, which they obtained from 2011 to 2016. In addition, Jake has earned the Engineer In Training certification from NCEES in 2016 and the Master Heating Ventilation and A/C certification from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in 2022.
