Lotof Karkaby has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as a Board of Directors Member for Estates of The Israel Medical Association since June 2024 and as a Board Member of The Israel Medical Association since 2012, where responsibilities include serving on the Medical Ethics Committee and the Supreme Examinations Committee of the Scientific Council. Karkaby has held various positions at Clalit Health Services since 1992, including Clinic Director and Pediatrician. Additional contributions include membership in Rotary International's Haifa Rotary Club and participation in health technology initiatives as a Healthtech Fellow. Karkaby’s educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, complemented by further studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of Haifa.
