Paul van Eekelen is an experienced game designer with a focus on player experience, currently serving as Principal Player Experience Designer at Vertigo Games since July 2021. Responsibilities include ensuring player engagement, usability, and accessibility through playtest data analysis. Previously, as Senior Game Designer, Paul worked on a large unannounced VR game in Unreal Engine 5. Paul's extensive background includes volunteer work at MobyGames to preserve early video game history and multiple roles at Force Field Entertainment, where notable titles such as "Coaster Combat" and "Ready, Set, Cook!" were released. Additional experience includes game design positions at Vanguard Entertainment Group, Karami Games, and Larian Studios, combined with an academic foundation in Game Design and Development from HKU.
