Marco Pohl

Marco Pohl has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Marco most recently worked as Vice President of Procurement at Vertiv since 2019. Prior to that, they took a sabbatical from 2018 to 2019. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the Global Procurement Director at Xylem Inc., where they led procurement efforts globally and implemented various strategies to improve productivity and quality. Before that, they held roles at ABB as Senior Commodity Manager Carbon Steel and Global Commodity Team Leader Castings. At DaimlerChrysler AG, they worked as a Team Leader for Sourcing World Diesel Engine and as a Project Manager for Purchasing V6/V8 Diesel Engines. Marco also has experience as a Mobility Manager at DaimlerChrysler Services AG and as a Junior Consultant at Dornier SystemConsult GmbH.

Marco Pohl has a Diploma Engineer degree in Transport Studies from Technische Universität Berlin, which they obtained from 1993 to 2000. Marco further pursued a Master of Science in Transport through the Imperial College International Diploma program at Imperial College London from 1997 to 1998. Later, they completed an Executive MBA in Supply Chain Management at ETH Zürich from 2009 to 2010.
