Raymond Biu

Raymond Biu is an experienced compliance professional with a robust background in financial regulation and risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance and MLRO at VertoFX since March 2021, Biu previously held significant roles including Head of Compliance at VAUBAN and Country Head of Compliance, MLRO, and DPO at Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch). Biu has demonstrated expertise in establishing compliance and AML frameworks for financial institutions, developing risk assessments, and implementing effective preventative and detective controls. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Management and Regulation of Risk from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Financial Economics from Kingston University.
