Business Development Manager - Group Corporate Fleet at Vertu Motors

Emily Mason started their career as a Customer Services Advisor at Teignbridge District Council in 2003, where they handled a variety of tasks including advising on benefits, council tax, planning, recycling, and general inquiries. Emily also handled payments both over the phone and in person.

In 2007, Emily joined Thrifty Car & Van Rental as a Fleet Maintenance Advisor. Their responsibilities included assessing and managing damaged or broken-down vehicles across various branches nationwide. Emily negotiated prices to minimize costs for the company.

In 2008, Emily became a Business Development Manager at Silver Street, which is part of Marshall Motors. Emily excelled in this role, prospecting new companies, developing relationships with existing ones, and selling cars and vans to local and national businesses. Emily consistently surpassed sales targets and was the top salesperson every year until 2014.

Since 2014, Emily has been working at Vertu Motors plc as a Business Development Manager in the Group Corporate Fleet. Emily previously worked at Helston Garages Group, which was acquired by Vertu Motors. In this role, Emily continues to prospect new companies, maintain relationships with existing ones, sell cars and vans, and provide excellent customer service. Emily now has the added advantage of being able to sell all Vertu Motors and Bristol Street Motors brands.

Emily Mason attended Bennett Memorial Diocesan School from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained ten GCSEs in subjects such as English, Maths, French, German, Science, Religious Education, Design & Communications, and Business Studies. Emily later enrolled at Mid Kent College in 1997 and completed a NVQ degree in Travel Studies in 1998.
